At a glance

• Eluz reads your Google Calendar with your permission and turns it into an availability summary you can review and share.
• Eluz requests read-only Calendar access. It never creates, edits, or deletes calendar entries.
• Eluz does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
• Your calendar entries are private to you inside Eluz. Only the availability summary you choose to produce is intended for sharing.
• You can revoke Eluz’s access in your Google account at any time, and deleting your Eluz account revokes the stored Google token and removes the synchronized data.

Information Eluz uses

• Account data: name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, acceptance version and timestamp, and account timestamps.
• Security data: session identifier, IP address, user agent, sign-in timestamps, and application logs.
• Calendar connection data: the calendar identifier you connect, a Google refresh token stored encrypted, synchronization tokens, and notification-channel identifiers used to receive change notices from Google.
• Calendar entries: the events returned for the calendar you connect. The stored copy currently includes the fields Google returns for an event, which can include its title, description, location, organizer, and attendee details. Before general availability, Eluz will store only the fields it needs to compute availability, and this notice will be updated to list them exactly.
• Availability data you create: production names you define, availability request ranges and time zones, and the busy, flexible, or non-blocking classifications you apply to events or recurring series.

Google user data and Limited Use

When you connect a calendar, Eluz asks Google for the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly scope. Eluz uses that access only to read the events of the calendar you select, so it can show you a reviewable availability summary and remember the classifications you choose. Eluz does not request write access and cannot change your calendar.

Eluz’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, Eluz does not transfer or use Google user data for serving advertisements, does not sell it, does not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and does not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent for a support request you raise, where necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and de-identified.

You can review and revoke Eluz’s access at any time in your Google account permissions. Revoking access there stops future synchronization. To also remove the data Eluz already synchronized, delete your Eluz account in the product or through the data-request page.

Other people’s information in your calendar

Calendar entries often contain information about other people, such as organizers, attendees, meeting titles, and locations. When you connect a calendar you are asking Eluz to process that information on your behalf, and you are responsible for having the right to do so. Eluz shows this information only to you, limits what it keeps as described above, and never uses it to build profiles of the people named in your calendar.

Before you share an availability summary, check that it does not disclose anything about a third party that you are not permitted to share. Where the law treats you as the controller of your own calendar content, Velanite acts on your instructions for that content.

Sharing an availability summary

Eluz produces summaries for a date range and a production you define. What a recipient sees is the availability result, not your underlying calendar entries, unless you deliberately include additional detail. Once you send a summary to a production manager or anyone else, that recipient controls their copy and Velanite cannot retrieve or delete it for you.

Third parties

Google receives and provides information when you sign in with Google and when Eluz synchronizes your calendar. Google’s handling of that information is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Hosting, database, and supporting infrastructure providers process information on Velanite’s behalf; Eluz production infrastructure is operated on Amazon Web Services. Eluz does not use advertising networks, product analytics, or session-replay tools, and does not send calendar content to any AI model provider.

Retention and deletion

• Expired sessions, routine application logs, IP addresses, and user agents are scheduled for deletion within 30 days.
• Synchronized calendar entries are kept only while the calendar connection exists. Removing a connection deletes the stored entries for it and revokes the stored Google refresh token.
• Account data, calendar connections, synchronized entries, productions, requests, and classifications are deleted after a valid account-deletion request, subject to short backup and security periods.
• Legal, security, and dispute records may be retained for the period required by law or necessary to establish legal claims.

Security

Google refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are never returned to a browser. Calendar data is held in a private database that is not reachable from the public internet. No system is completely secure, so Velanite cannot guarantee absolute security. Report a suspected vulnerability or unauthorized access to security@velanite.com.

Eligibility and availability

You must be at least 18 to use Eluz and legally able to enter the Terms of Use. Eluz depends on the Google Calendar API; if Google changes, limits, or withdraws that access, some features may stop working.
