1. Who we are

Velanite builds and operates software products. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@velanite.com. The legal operator and postal address will also appear in the relevant product listing or service interface.

2. Where this policy applies

This policy applies to velanite.com and products that link to it. A product-specific notice supplements this policy where a product collects different information or uses it differently. If a product notice conflicts with this general policy, the product notice controls for that product.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details, such as name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
• Content and settings you create in a product.
• Messages and information you send when requesting support or exercising a privacy right.
• Payment and transaction information if a product later offers paid services. Full card details are handled by the payment provider, not Velanite.

Information collected automatically

• Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
• Session identifiers and strictly necessary storage used to keep you signed in and protect the service.
• Product activity required to provide features, maintain records, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

Information from other services

If you choose a third-party sign-in or integration, we receive the information that service makes available with your permission, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier.

If you connect a service so a product can read your data there, we receive the content covered by the permission you grant. Eluz reads the Google Calendar you connect; the Eluz notice explains what is read, stored, and deleted, and how Velanite meets the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Why we use information

• Provide the service: create accounts, authenticate users, save settings, operate features, and respond to support. Where applicable, this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• Protect the service: secure accounts, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate incidents, and enforce our terms. We rely on our legitimate interests in running a safe service and, where necessary, legal obligations.
• Improve reliability: diagnose errors, measure performance, and improve existing features using data that is reasonably necessary for those purposes. We rely on legitimate interests and minimize or aggregate data where practical.
• Communicate: send service notices, security messages, and replies you request. Marketing messages will require any consent mandated by applicable law and will include an unsubscribe method.
• Comply with law: meet legal requirements and respond to lawful requests.

Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing.

5. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose only what is reasonably necessary to:

• Infrastructure, database, security, communications, and support providers that process data for us under appropriate terms.
• Third-party services you deliberately connect or select, including identity providers and, for AI-enabled products, the gateway and model provider you choose.
• Professional advisers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.
• A successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.

Current product-specific recipients are identified in the applicable product notice.

6. Google user data

Some Velanite products read data from your Google account after you grant permission. Velanite requests the narrowest scope that delivers the feature you asked for, uses that data only to provide and secure the feature, and stops using it when you revoke access.

Velanite’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Velanite does not transfer or use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Humans do not read it except with your explicit consent for a request you raise, where necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and de-identified.

You can review or revoke a product’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The applicable product notice states which scopes that product requests and what it stores.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where law requires a transfer safeguard, we use an applicable mechanism such as adequacy decisions, approved standard contractual clauses, or a provider’s valid certification, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above:

• Account data is kept while the account is active and removed or de-identified after a valid deletion request, subject to limited legal and security exceptions.
• Expired sessions, routine security logs, IP addresses, and user-agent records are scheduled for deletion within 30 days unless needed to investigate an incident.
• Support and privacy-request records are generally kept for up to three years to demonstrate how the request was handled.
• Public or integrity-sensitive product records may remain after account deletion when deletion would undermine other users’ records; direct identifiers are removed or replaced as described in the product notice.
• Legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained for the period required by law or necessary to establish legal claims.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, receive a copy of, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising those rights. Velanite does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Use our data-request page to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law permits.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use unique credentials and protect any third-party API keys you connect.

11. Children

Velanite’s general website is not directed to children. Products may set a higher minimum age in their product notice. AI Playoff and Eluz are each restricted to people aged 18 or older. If we learn that we collected information from someone below the applicable minimum age, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Cookies and browser storage

Velanite.com does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. It stores your selected light or dark appearance locally in your browser and does not transmit that preference to Velanite. Products may use strictly necessary storage for authentication, security, and requested functionality. See the Cookies & storage notice for details.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when our products or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version and effective date here and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
